Boys' & Girls' Brigades

Boys Brigade

Boys' Brigade meets during the school terms

Anchor Boys/Section 1 (5yr – 11yr old)
Time: 7:00 – 8:30pm Wednesdays

Section 2 (12yr – 18 yr old)
Time: 7:00 – 9:30pm Wednesdays
 

Girls Brigade

Girls' Brigade meets during the school terms
Cadets (Kindergarten to 2nd year)
Time: 6:30 – 8:00pm Tuesdays

Juniors/Seniors/Pioneers (3rd year upwards)
Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm Tuesdays

Children's Sunday School Program

​

During the 9.00am church service in school terms, our Children’s Program offers Bible teaching for children in our 3 groups:

‘Paddle -  3 - 7 year olds
‘Splash -  8 - 12 year olds

‘Dive - 13yrs and upwards

Mondays:

      Uniting In Arts      

10.00am – 12 noon every Monday during school terms. 

Groups offer various art and craft activities for men and women. Activities may include painting, card making, scrap booking, knitting and sewing.

     Ladies Evening Fellowship

1st Monday each month at 7.00pm,

Various activities, outings or speakers are arranged for each meeting

     Silver Threads Group

at our Grantham Hts Ctr.

Board Games, Indoor Bowls, as well as the Occasional External Excursions

     Bible Study Groups

Afternoon Bible Study 2:30 - 4:00pm

     Community Garden

A variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers are grown together and there is opportunity for you to help tend the plants already growing, and possibly also create your own space

     Exercise Program for All Adults

Easy Exercise Program for all adults each Wednesday at 11am to 12noon in the air conditioned comfort of our auditorium. Gentle exercise and balance coaching

Thursdays

     Ladies Craft Group

Meeting every Thursday from 10.00am to 12 noon.
This group is open to women of all ages. Meet for fellowship and support through the teaching and sharing craft skills

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

​

MOPS is a program for mothers of pre-school age children (0-5 years.) it is a time when mothers can relax, meet other mums and be encouraged in this wonderful task of mothering.

At a MOPS morning you can sit and enjoy adult conversation, morning tea, create and take home a completed craft and listen to interesting and relevant information for your mothering experience.

During the morning the children are cared for by the Moppets Team. They provide quality care and teaching for your child. The children are separated into ages groups and participate in a variety of different activities, such as games, story time, art and outdoor play.

MOPS meets on Tuesday mornings fortnightly from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Blacktown Uniting Church, 59 – 65 Bungarribee Rd Blacktown.
